From Lagos to the Lakes of
Connemara
The residents of Clifden and many towns in Connemara are used to the sounds
of foreign tongues being spoken in their pubs and shops, a Summertime
chorus of mainly European accents. But of late the discerning ear will
detect unusual, refreshing dialects not usually associated with this area.

the next General Election despite widespread belief that his time had
come to say goodbye to a long life as a public representative.
