Connemara Community Radio won the overall winner for best programme (Captain
of the Men of Death) in an award ceremony which took place in Dublin on

Sheep farmers all over Connenara are facing into their worst winter in
years with the virtual collapse of lamb prices on the Irish market which
has been brought about through a combination of events, both in Ireland
and abroad.

Cup cross the river Shannon, but it also crossed the river Corrib, such
was the influence on the team of the players from different parts of Connemara.

Programme Launched
On Friday, 16th October, Minister of State at the Department of Health
and Children, Frank Fahey T.D. officially launched the Connemara Adolescent
Support Programme at the Station House Hotel in Clifden.
