Major Development for Maam Cross
A massive new development, set in one of the most beautiful and
remote spots of Connemara, will create a total of 150 new jobs at peak season
and see an investment of over £3 million in its first phase.
Dáil Praise for Salmon taskforce
A recent report of the Dáil Committee on Economic
Strategy & Enterprise on the subject of Salmon Management has praised the
work of the Wilkins Taskforce for its "even-handed and balanced approach
to the problems and solutions of salmon management and its recommendation for
equitable sharing of the resource."
New regulations on wildlife trade
and protection
