Stormy Night in Maam Cross
At a large gathering in Peacocke's of Maam Cross on Monday,
1st December, anger and fear were expressed by local landowners in relation
to the issue of SACs. (5 Dec.)

Stalemate over
Phone Mast
The people of Rosmuc have no intention of allowing
an Esat Digifone crew erect a mast in the grounds of Rosmuc Garda station
which is located between the junior and secondary schools attended by
the children of the area.
Clifden
Development Plan given thumbs down
Plans to construct twenty semi-detached and four detached
houses, along with a second proposed development of six terraced houses
on the Westport Road, Clifden, have come to a halt.
